Growing Virtues

Cultivating Character One Day at a Time

The 52 Virtues

Based on The Virtues Project, we explore 52 universal virtues that help us become better people. These are positive qualities of character—like seeds planted in the garden of our hearts—that grow stronger over time with care, attention, and practice.

We've gamified the learning experience to make character development engaging and fun! Take quizzes, track your progress, earn achievements, and see how you compare on the leaderboard as you explore each virtue through stories, activities, and real-world practice.

How Virtues Grow
1

Start Small

Choose one virtue to focus on at a time. Trying to develop everything at once can be overwhelming. Small, consistent steps lead to lasting change.

2

Make It Visible

Create reminders around your home. A "Virtue of the Week" poster, daily affirmations, or simple discussions at mealtimes keep virtues in focus.

3

Practice Together

Parents and children grow together. When adults model virtues and admit when they fall short, it creates a safe environment for everyone to learn and improve.

4

Celebrate Progress

Notice and acknowledge when family members demonstrate virtues. Positive reinforcement encourages continued growth and builds confidence.
