O God, You who made the nations of the earth in all their wonder — every tongue, every color, every way of seeing the world — teach me to see that wonder too. Help me resist the reflex to make strangers into threats, and differences into deficits.
Grant me the humility to remember that I do not hold the whole truth, and that wisdom often arrives wearing an unfamiliar face. May I listen before I judge, and seek to understand before I speak.
Where I have been narrow, stretch me. Where I have been quick to dismiss, slow me down. Let me hold my convictions with conviction — but never with cruelty. Let me stand for what is right without trampling on the dignity of those who see things differently.
May I build bridges, not walls. May my life be a testimony that it is possible to disagree with someone and still treat them as beloved — because in Your eyes, they are.
Make me an instrument of understanding in a world that so desperately needs it.
Amen.
