At Instilling Values, we believe that not all content is created equal—even if it receives the same star rating from our community. That's why we've implemented a unique dual rating system that combines traditional user ratings with consciousness calibrations based on Dr. David Hawkins' renowned Map of Consciousness.

What is the Map of Consciousness?

Dr. David R. Hawkins, a renowned psychiatrist and consciousness researcher, developed the Map of Consciousness—a logarithmic scale from 1 to 1,000 that measures the energetic frequency of human consciousness and emotional states. This scale provides insight into the spiritual and emotional impact of content, beyond what surface-level ratings can capture.

Key Levels on the Map:

• Below 200: Negative emotions like shame, guilt, fear, and anger
• 200-499: Courage, neutrality, willingness, acceptance, and reason
• 500-599: Love, joy, and peace
• 600+: Enlightenment and pure consciousness

How We Rate Content

Every piece of content on our platform—whether it's a game, book, movie, or blog post—receives two types of ratings:

1. Community Star Ratings (1-5 Stars)

Just like traditional review systems, our users can rate content from 1 to 5 stars based on their personal experience. This gives you immediate feedback about how much our community enjoys and recommends the content.

2. Consciousness Level Calibration (1-1000)

Using principles from Dr. Hawkins' work, we calibrate the consciousness level of content to reflect its deeper energetic and spiritual impact. This helps you understand not just whether content is popular, but whether it uplifts, inspires, and promotes positive growth.

Why This Matters

Imagine two movies both rated 5 stars by audiences. One might be entertaining and well-made, calibrating at 350 (acceptance/reason). Another might be profoundly transformative, calibrating at 540 (unconditional love). Both are excellent—but they serve different purposes in your family's journey.

Our dual rating system helps you choose content that:

• Aligns with your family's values and growth goals
• Supports emotional and spiritual development
• Provides the right energy for different situations (uplifting vs. entertaining vs. educational)
• Resonates with higher virtues and consciousness levels

How to Use the Ratings

Community Stars: Use these to gauge popularity and general satisfaction. If something has 4-5 stars, it's likely well-loved by families like yours.

Consciousness Level: Use this to understand the deeper impact. Higher calibrations (500+) indicate content that promotes love, joy, peace, and spiritual growth. Content in the 200-400 range can still be valuable for building courage, acceptance, and reasoning skills.

Together, these ratings give you a complete picture—helping you make informed choices that support both entertainment value and meaningful growth for your family.
